I'm a Columbus native and I've played and sung music most of my life. I worked as an acoustic single and duo during my years studying theater at Ohio State. In the late 70’s and early 80’s, I sang and played keys with a few rock bands.
I have spent most of my professional life in small offices doing bookkeeping and data management, keeping old computer systems operating, and some programming. But I have always pursued artistic endeavors such as designing and making my own clothes and sweaters, pottery, and graphic design in various media. I also have my own stained glass studio, Designs in Glass, where I specialize in windows for home entries.

Songs
by Heidi White
In Edmonton
I walked on top of a snow covered mountain
You gave a smile, then you flew away
You took my heart, it was hard to imagine
We'd be together one sweet day
Chorus:
My fair love lives in Edmonton
Where the winter's long on the rivers run
But my warm heart will be with you forever
I'll make my home in Edmonton
You're in my dream overlooking the valley
We'll say our vows and you'll be my own
And every year we'll come back to remember
And to cherish the times we've know
repeat chorus
And we'll return to the top of the mountain
We'll never tire of the beauty there
Just take my hand and we'll climb it together
We'll have the rest of our lives to share
repeat chorus
LET YOUR JOY SHINE
Do you keep you head down so no one hears you sing
Do you fret and worry about losing everything
Lift up your chin and sing out
Let your voice begin to ring
You’ll find your frets and worries are tiresome, useless things
You gotta pass along a smile today to everybody on the street
You gotta give a little kindness to a stranger that you meet
You gotta spend a little time today with your friends and family
Gotta let your JOY SHINE and set your spirit free
Do you take refuge in keeping what you have
Do you think that happy is just not feeling bad
You have to realize your blessings to see a brighter day
And it’ll make you happy to give these gifts away
You gotta pass along a smile today to everybody on the street
You gotta give a little kindness to a stranger that you meet
You gotta spend a little time today with your friends and family
Gotta let your JOY SHINE and set your spirit free
You Can't Give Up Everything
I gave up potato chips, biquets, beans and rice
So that I could slip into that dress you think is nice
I gave up my long-time friends and dancin' on the town
I gave up all my traveling so I could settle down
I thought I gave up all I had, now I see what's true
You can't give up everything so I gotta give up you.
I gave up the second car -- you said you couldn't pay
Then you went out and bought yourself a brand new Chevrolet
I clean the house, I bake the bread, I never see my Dad
I'm tired of making you feel good when it makes me feel bad!
I thought I gave up all I had, now I see what's true
You can't give up everything so I gotta give up you.
Gave up my pride, I took you back when you stayed out all night
I don't know why I'm stickin' 'round when you don't treat me right
No kids, no pets, no freedom. It's all part of your scheme
I'll have to say this kind of life is not all that I dreamed
I thought I gave up all I had, now I see what's true
You can't give up everything so I gotta give up you.
